Overview:
As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals who require assistance with daily activities due to illness, injury, or age-related conditions. Your responsibilities will involve attending to the physical and emotional needs of clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care Assistance:
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide support with toileting, including using the restroom and changing undergarments if needed.
  • Help with mobility by providing assistance with walking, transferring, and positioning.

Medication Management:

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications according to schedules.

Daily Living Support:

  • Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.

Companionship and Emotional Support:

  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, actively listening to clients' concerns and offering reassurance.

Observation and Reporting:

  • Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes or concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and tasks completed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
